Marlene Thoms with her Beading Boot Camp (all you need to know to get started) will be here on SATURDAY, JUNE 4TH. Marlene has been making beautiful jewelery for a few years now and will be pleased to share her knowledge with us. We will make two wonderful bracelets - using different techniques that will start you on your journey to creating many jewelry pieces! Beading boot camp as promised will help you get into shape and the right frame of mind so you can confidentially continue in this great expression of creativity not to mention functional and fun. You will learn about the different types of beads, the styles of beads, the basic techniques in jewelry making plus more. Make sure to bring along a pen and notepad. The class cost is $25 plus material costs. The material costs will vary on which bracelets you choose to make, approximate material cost is $10-$15. Great hobby for tweens and up!! Marlene is coming from Ottawa so I would like to fill up the 10:30am class as soon as possible, as mentioned she has alot of information to share with you.
